Well, friends, let me tell you all about my not-so-amazing experience at Superior Spas & Stoves! My sister and I were excited to check out this fancy spa location in Castro Valley, but let's just say our expectations weren't too high.
As we stepped into the lobby, we couldn't help but notice that it looked like someone had spilled a million different colors all over the floor. It was definitely a vibrant atmosphere, but can we talk about how the towels were almost non-existent? We walked in there thinking, "Yes! This is going to be luxurious," only to realize we hadn't been provided with any kind of fluffy towel to dry off our wet hands from the rain outside.
But that wasn't all! As we made our way to the spa room, we couldn't help but notice that every single room looked like they needed a good scrubbing down. Dust and hair were everywhere, and I'm pretty sure I saw some creepy crawlies scurrying around on the floor. Needless to say, it wasn't the most relaxing start to our spa day!
To make matters worse, when we finally made it to the bathroom, there was only one toilet paper for every six people. And let's just say that didn't last very long. We were starting to feel like we had stepped into a scene out of The Walking Dead by this point!
At this point, my sister and I couldn't help but crack a joke about how other spas near Hayward must be doing way better in the amenities department. But seriously folks, if anyone is looking for a new spa destination, I highly recommend they take their search elsewhere.
