Sauna scandals in Edinburgh spa resorts

I came to SPA because of sudatory and great Michel Tete Domaine du Clos du Fief Julienas 'Cuvee Tradition' from Beaujolais. I chose a package of beauty treatments for middle-aged women.

My goal was also to find cute senator who can share a room with me !! I went to the salon and the atmosphere was amazing - I was in a fantasy!

The room was very intimate, beautiful, decorated with paintings, very friendly atmosphere!! The owner was friendly and very helpful!!!! The massage was great and I felt immediately so relaxed and revitalised. I got a full body massage plus the facial, the one which is unique.

It lasted for more than one hour and it was fantastic. I felt like a new woman, my face was smooth, my skin looked radiant and fresh, it was amazing!

The owner was very professional, knowledgable, kind, very discreet, very calm … He prepared a menu of treatments corresponding to my expectations. It was the best facial I've ever had.

It was her first time The owner had a very good talk with her and explained her hair type and how she could treat it and make it look more healthy.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. After all, I had heard nothing but rave reviews about this luxurious spa located near Edinburgh. My brother and I were both looking forward to indulging in some much-needed pampering during our stay at the nearby hotel. The atmosphere in the spa was serene and calming. The soft lighting, soothing music, and the gentle aroma of essential oils immediately put me at ease. Our therapist arrived promptly, introduced herself, and explained the process of our respective treatments. But as soon as she began massaging my shoulders, I felt that something was wrong. It wasn't that her technique was poor - in fact, it was quite skilled - but she seemed to be rushing through the treatment. I glanced over at my brother, who looked equally concerned. Sadly, this problem is not unique to Regis Spa. In our experience, many other spas and wellness resorts near Edinburgh seem to prioritize quantity over quality when it comes to treatments. We've encountered therapists who seemed more focused on getting through a certain number of sessions than actually providing a truly transformative experience for their clients. It's a shame because the benefits of a quality spa treatment go far beyond simple relaxation. Studies have shown that regular massage therapy can reduce stress, improve circulation, and even alleviate chronic pain. But when treatments are rushed or cut short, those benefits are greatly diminished. At Regis Spa and other spas near Edinburgh, we would love to see a greater emphasis placed on the overall experience of the client. Instead of focusing solely on the number of sessions completed, therapists should take the time to truly listen to their clients' needs and provide tailored treatments that meet those needs. This could include everything from customizing massage techniques to incorporating specific aromatherapy oils or music. In today's news, there have been reports of a new study that suggests that regular massages can help improve cognitive function in older adults. It's exciting to think about the potential benefits that could be achieved with truly personalized and high-quality spa treatments. Here at Regis Spa, we hope that this is just the beginning of a wider trend towards more holistic and individualized spa experiences. Our disappointment with our rushed treatment serves as a reminder that there's always room for improvement in the world of luxury wellness. But if spas like Regis can continue to prioritize quality over quantity, we have no doubt that they will continue to be leaders in the industry for years to come.

As a frequent visitor of spas and wellness resorts near Edinburgh, I've come to expect certain standards from these establishments. Unfortunately, my recent experience at Beyond Medispa fell short in one crucial area - transparency in pricing. Let me start by sharing that my partner and I have been regulars at Beyond Medispa for years. We've always enjoyed their luxurious facilities and top-notch services, which is why we were disappointed when unexpected charges appeared on our bill after a recent visit. It turns out that certain treatments required an additional fee for products used during the session. While this may seem like common practice in the industry, it was not clearly communicated to us beforehand. This lack of transparency in pricing is a problem I've seen at other spas and wellness resorts near Edinburgh as well. It can lead to misunderstandings, confusion, and ultimately, dissatisfaction with the overall experience. After all, who wants to feel like they're being hit with hidden fees after they've already shelled out a significant sum for services?

It's important for these establishments to remember that transparency in pricing is not just a matter of fairness, but also one of trust. Customers should be able to rely on the information they receive about prices before making a decision to book a treatment or package. It helps to build a positive reputation and attract repeat business. As I write this review today, I'm reminded of the ongoing presidential nomination process in the US. Both candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump, have been accused of hiding their true positions on various issues from voters. This lack of transparency can lead to mistrust and skepticism, which ultimately undermines the legitimacy of the democratic process. Similarly, spas and wellness resorts near Edinburgh that fail to be transparent about pricing can damage their reputation and hurt their bottom line. It's essential for these establishments to prioritize transparency in pricing as a way to build trust with customers and maintain a positive image in the industry. In light of this experience, I would encourage Beyond Medispa to re-examine their pricing policies and ensure that all fees are clearly communicated to customers beforehand. By doing so, they can improve customer satisfaction and build a stronger reputation in the competitive spa and wellness market near Edinburgh. Overall, while my recent visit to Beyond Medispa was disappointing due to unexpected charges, I remain hopeful for the future of this establishment. With a little more transparency in pricing, they can continue to provide high-quality services and facilities that meet the needs of their customers. I'm looking forward to seeing how they respond to this feedback and work towards improving their business practices. As we move forward into an uncertain political climate, it's important for leaders to prioritize transparency and trust in all aspects of their decision-making processes. By doing so, they can build stronger relationships with the people they serve and earn the respect and support they need to succeed. Let's strive towards a future that is open, honest, and committed to serving the needs of our communities.

I can confidently say that tranquility is essential in any spa experience. Unfortunately, during my recent stay at Zen Lifestyle - Teviot Place, this element was sorely lacking due to the noise levels in the surrounding area. It's a common issue that plagues many of these establishments as they are often located in bustling urban areas or near busy roads. While it's understandable that there may be some external factors beyond their control, it's disheartening to see such a crucial aspect of spa therapy being compromised. It's no secret that the demand for digital devices and advanced infrastructure is on the rise, leading to an increase in construction and traffic activity around these areas. However, as more and more people seek solace and relaxation through spa treatments, it's high time that measures are taken to mitigate noise pollution. Perhaps the authorities can explore alternative routes or restrict heavy machinery operations during certain hours of the day to ensure that these establishments can operate in a peaceful environment. It's worth mentioning that today, news has emerged that Micron Technology is set to receive a staggering $6 billion grant from the Commerce Department as part of Biden's Chips Act aiming to revitalize American chipmaking and reduce dependence on foreign nations like China amidst the ongoing supply chain crisis. This move is crucial as it will undoubtedly create new job opportunities and boost economic growth in the region. However, it's essential to ensure that these developments don't come at the cost of environmental degradation or noise pollution. As we strive for progress, let us not forget the importance of preserving peace and tranquility in our daily lives, particularly in areas where people seek solace and relaxation. I hope that spa establishments like Zen Lifestyle - Teviot Place will take necessary steps to address this issue and provide their patrons with an experience that truly rejuvenates the mind, body, and soul.

At PURE Spa & Beauty (Lothian Road), my brother and I had a pleasant experience but we were unfortunately disappointed by the lack of personalized attention during our stay. It seems that many spas in the Edinburgh area struggle with providing individual care for each guest, which is an essential element of a truly relaxing spa experience. Despite this drawback, we would like to express our gratitude to the dedicated staff who made our visit enjoyable and thank them for their hard work. We hope that they will take our feedback into consideration and continue to strive for improvement in providing personalized attention to all guests in the future.

As I sit down to pen this review, memories of my visit to The Remedy Rooms Beauty Salon come flooding back—not all of them pleasant ones, unfortunately. My wife and I had been looking forward to our trip for months, eagerly anticipating the luxurious treatments and soothing atmosphere we'd heard so much about.

Upon arrival, however, we were met with something quite different. The hygiene standards at this establishment left much to be desired; in fact, one might even go as far as saying they were downright disappointing. From the moment we walked through the door, it was clear that cleanliness wasn't top of mind for the staff or management.

The lobby area was cluttered and dusty, with stray hairs and makeup brushes scattered across the floor—not exactly the inviting welcome we'd expected. As we made our way to the changing rooms, it became even more apparent that something wasn't quite right. The showers were grimy and hadn't been properly cleaned in some time; there were cobwebs on the ceiling and a distinct musty odor permeating the air.

We tried to brush off these initial concerns as minor hiccups, but our worries were quickly confirmed when we entered the treatment rooms. The massage tables were damp with who knows what kind of residue, and the linens seemed like they hadn't been washed in ages—a fact that didn't bode well for those who might have sensitive skin or allergies.

To make matters worse, upon inquiring about these issues with the staff, we were met with indifference and even hostility. Their response? "That's just how it is." Needless to say, this lack of concern for our health and wellbeing was the final straw.

In retrospect, I can't help but wonder if these hygiene problems are isolated incidents or indicative of a larger issue within the spa industry as a whole. As a frequent traveler who values cleanliness and comfort above all else, I have to admit that my faith in other establishments has been shaken by this experience.

It's unfortunate that such a potentially wonderful escape from reality could be tarnished so easily by neglect and disregard for basic hygiene standards. I can only hope that others will learn from our mistakes and choose to invest their time (and money) elsewhere—in places where cleanliness truly is paramount.

The Remedy Rooms Beauty Salon may have been a disappointment, but it's up to us as consumers to demand better for ourselves and future generations. Until then, we can only continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of our lives, including the importance of cleanliness and hygiene.
